Legs For Literacy

Giving Back

As the event has grown...

... in number of participants, so too has our contribution to the community increased dramatically. By 2005 our event had become more established and we were able to make a charitable contribution of $1,500 that year.  The past five years have seen tremendous growth in our event, and in our ability to have an impact in our communities. In 2006, the AstraZeneca Legs for Literacy event raised $15,000 for Districts 1 and 2 for Literacy projects, and in 2007 we doubled that to $30,000. In 2011, we increased the total money raised to $53,500.
