MONCTON
- The City of Moncton wishes to advise the motoring public of delays or detours in the following areas due to events happening in the city this weekend.
Legs for Literacy Marathon:
Detours and closures for Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Complete closures of Main Street from Highfield Street to Assomption Boulevard (both intersections to remain open)
Full closure of Mechanic St from Main St to Assomption
Assisted crossing on Assumption to Riverfront Park
The City is asking motorists to use alternate routes when at all possible, and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, but also encourages travelers to check out the events if at all possible.
