13. I am injured… can I get a refund after I have paid?
All registrations are non-refundable, but you can either transfer your registration to another runner or we can defer your registration until next year. Deferrals are good for the following year only and cannot be transferred to another runner. There is an administration fee for both options.
You also have the option to purchase the Race Roster RunShield Insurance at the time you register. This may enable you to make a claim in the event that you are unable to participate in the race.

Yes. This can be done on both registration sites for a nominal administrative fee. To transfer, simply go to the registration site select “transfer”. There is an administration fee for registration transfers.

If Legs for Literacy is aware that a bib has been unofficially been given to an unregistered runner both the registered runner and the unregistered runner will be disqualified.
